Verimark sponging off the consumer.

Our household has been using the Verimak Floorwiz pro for at least 15 years but in the last year or two the quality of the replaceable sponge has declined to the place where it lasts literally ONE MONTH, before it tears and must be replaced. My local Spar sells the sponge for around R80.00 and I out of principle refuse to pay that every 4 weeks. I also refuse to believe that Verimark are not aware of the problem and am more inclined to believe that they have willfully cheapened the quality to make for money. Not acceptable! NB: We never allow the sponge is never allowed to dry out and become brittle but we keep it just slightly damp for next use.
