Verimark

I purchased a Verimark Bauer 28cm Diamond frying pan from Pick n Pay Norwood in Feb 2022, which carried a 2yr warranty. However, after about 10 months use, it lost it's non stick properties. I didn't think about it, until while shopping in April 2023, whilst I was looking for a different non stick pan (T-fal), which I have a few for many years without a problem, the Verimark rep came up to me and asked if I would like to purchase their Bauer frying pan. I told her my dissatisfaction about my last purchase and she then mentioned that I should bring it in as it had a 2yr warrantee. This I did a few days later and my pan was sent in for re-coating on the 26th April.

Today (12th May), I got a call from Verimark stating that my pan was overheated and thus was outside their warranty. They offered me a replacement pan at a price higher than what one can get from Takealot!

I wasn't happy, but their couldn't care attitude was typical of a company that deserves a 1 star or even less for customer care.

Bottom line is they're sending back my old pan for me to collect at Pick n Pay.

Lesson learnt. Buy quality products like T-fal rather than Verimark inferior quality.
