Verimark encourages rep at Makro Montague Gardens to lie to customer

I am truly SHOCKED! Yesterday I tried to return my second Genesis vacuum in 6 months. My vacuum is unable to suck due to what seems like a broken foot piece. This vacuum was purchased on 2 Feb 2021. So roughly 5 months old. They simple pulled up their shoulders and said they only guarantee the motor.

I asked to speak to whoever is higher up in the food chain. This person did not realise he was on speaker and continued to request the rep to lie to me by telling me to leave the vacuum at the office, to tell me that they will 'have a look' and just call me in a view days to come to collect and buy a new part for it. The entire office gasped as he said that. Immediately the rep took me off speaker as this guy on the phone tried to backtrack his story.

I am horrified! Not only because they take no responsibility for really poor products but the fact that I was blatantly taken for a ride.

To me it's the principle. Some people save up months, even years, to buy products from them. They might not have the means to keep replacing parts of something that should at the very least last a year. Perhaps Verimark should spend less money and their oh so annoying marketing and more on pleasing their existing customers.
