Verimark - beware any business with them

I took my nonegenarian friend's Genesis vacuum cleaner to Verimark Brooklyn and checked it in for service/repair, being promised a prompt quote for work needed. Yesterday, nine days later I called again because nothing was happening. The attendant phoned around and then discovered that it was still in their storeroom as their driver was "still on holiday". Clearly it was no fault of his, but this is a terribly bad reflection on the general management of the organisation. One day a storeful of stuff will end up at the workshops and there will be more delays and rushed workmanship. I have never bought from Verimark, and boy-o-boy, I never will. Their track record with Hellopeter is not that flattering either.
