Shogun one touch can opener

So my son bought us a shogun can opener from Verimark in Game shop at the Bay West shopping mall when they came to visit us over Christmas. It didnt work so we took it back. The salesperson said they were out of stock and replaced it with a demo model. This did not work either. He will phone us when the new stock arrives, he never phoned. We went in today and asked for our money refund as we are tired of waiting for when new stock arrives. We cant get our money back as the time is expired for refunds. Why has the time expired if we are waiting for a phone call as promised? We were offered something else instead, don't they understand we don't want their products, after this experience we don't want to deal with this company or their products or their staff. We only support those who give us what they promise. Just refund our hard earned pensioners money and we will be on our way.
