Second Faulty Steam Mop

I went to Verimark New Market two days ago and paid for a brand new Genesis steam mop. The staff proceeded to sell me a faulty machine returned by a previous customer, not telling me this at any time. The area manager kindly came to my house and took it away and gave me a new steam mop yesterday.

This afternoon I put it together for my mother as this is for her and there is no steam coming out. I currently use the same mop at my house and it works. I owned the same mop before the one I currently own and that worked as well.

I am therefore puzzled as to why the new one my mother received does not work. I will be taking this faulty mop back to my house. It too needs to be replaced and this time the replacement needs to be tested while the Verimark staff member is physically present.
