Recoating Bauer Pan

To Whom It May Concern<br> <br> My mom in law bought my first Bauer Pan back in December 2011 for R395 if I remember correctly. February 2015 we took the pan in for recoating and received a refurbished pan for R295. It is not even a year later and the pan's non stick coating is off!!<br> <br> We took the pan in to our local Verimark Shop at Somerset Mall. The owner had to assess the pan before they can exchange the pan. The owner phoned me today and told me that they are unable to exchange because I used high heat to cook my food in the Bauer pan and therefore the non stick coating is not working anymore. Really to much high heat!!! Firstly this is my second Bauer pan and my way of cooking has not change since I received my first Bauer pan. How come that one lasted longer? Secondly, if I prepare meat then of course it is high heat, and I do turn down the heat when I need to simmer my food. I've used the pan the exact same way but the recoated/refurbished pans only last a couple of months. Not worth the R295!! And I am certainly not going to pay that again, and I would not recommend anyone to get their Bauer Pan recoated.<br> <br> <br>
