Poor customer orientation
Bought a hydrovac vacuum - 3 months later problems (screeching). As Verimaak had an issue collecting the item, it was recommended that I upgrade the product, which I did. Note, they had no problem delivering the new item!
The new cleaner had arrived and just before the 6 months expired, the same issue arose as the previous machine - screeching. Verimak has done everything possible to not issue a refund - such as, it was out of six months, they will fix the machine at their cost (obviously it will then be so called out of warranty, if anything else happens, and I sit with a dud), to me upgrading (again!) to me choosing anything else that I want from their store - as if after this drama I want anything from them. and the cherry on the cake, they will train me on how to use their vacuum cleaner...so anything except issue the refund. This is a company whose primary and only focus is to keep the monies for products sold - whether customers are happy/not is not their priority. I believed in the Company once upon a time, but the rose colored glasses have now fallen off

08 Jun 2023, 16:33I should have added, according to their technician, I had not used the machine properly, hence the need for training I presume...They also attached pictures which supposedly support their claims of incorrect use of the machine..I have requested 3 independent engineering evaluations from them, on the product, as judging from this site and Takealot reviews on the product, I am not the only one having issues with this product.

No amount of sugar coating, masks your poor performance and your attitude to your clients...I suggest you go and have a look at the 100's of poor reviews regarding your service levels here and on the Takealot site...
Bottom line is that, you refuse to refund me - this matter is now at the consumer ombudsman...I do hope that all your unhappy customers refer you to a consumer protection body as well, because your products and service levels are poor.
