I-play Dolly defective
I bought a I-play Dolly on 12 December 2019 as a Christmas present for my daughter. Immediately wrapped it, and she opened it on the 24th. Was working for only 2 days, after which the only function still working was the blinking eyes. No crying or movement of the mouth. Took the doll back to Northridge branch where we were told there is no warranty on toys. After phoning head office, we were informed that we had to take it in and that the doll would be inspected for defects. Took the doll on 12 January 2020. Have not received any feedback since then. We have to keep going back to the shop to get info and are just being told that the doll was sent to Johannesburg. No timeframes, nothing. Have also learned that the doll had been discontinued - no surprise there. I am done waiting and would like someone to contact me so we can arrange for a refund. Really disappointed at the total lack of client service.
