Hydrovac seals made to break and then sold for thousands...

I bought a Hydrovac extreme, which worked great for a while. Unfortunately the seals on the pipes were manufactured to break. I cant find the seals anywhere. Was told that the machine has to be serviced which will cost thousands of rands.. for seals that cost no more than R5?? Do not trust Verimark.
