Genesis Upright vac

<p>Good day,</p> <p>To whom this may concern:</p> <p>My wife and I purchased a Genesis Upright Vac from your Centurion Verimark Direct store on the 22 October 2016. (I will supply the tax invoice number on request)</p> <p>We purchased the new vacuum last year in 2016 and only really started using it in the new year. We did try it out when we first purchased (in the first week of purchase) it but it was not used extensively to detect any issues.</p> <p>We are very disappointed with this machine. We do not like the way it operates. The bottom suction spins while using the pet attachment with the hose. The machine is too loud for pets and the motor is so powerful that one has to ‘fight’ with the hose as it is difficult to use the attachments for cleaning non floor surfaces. When I say dangerous I mean the bottom roller continues to spin whilst using the pet attachment and I noticed that it pulled in the electrical cord and shaved a bit of the insulation off. If I didn’t put the vacuum of in time there would have been a disaster.</p> <p>We are loyal customers of Verimark and own many products with your brand. They are: Genesis Hydro Vac, the Genesis cordless sweeper, Floorwiz wonder broom and microfiber mop set, Bauer multi lid and the Gorilla Robolight. The upright vacuum is the worst item we have. It is not user friendly and dangerous.</p> <p>We do not want this vacuum anymore and urge someone from head office to contact me in this regard. I don’t mind taking another vacuum that is less dangerous and more pet friendly.
