Genesis Hydrovac Extreme II

Having had a big green machine (the original carpet cleaner vacuum) for more than 15 years with no issues until the motor packed up, as well as having numerous other Verimark cleaning products such as the Hydrovac Compact, Floorwiz, and steam cleaner, etc, I trusted the brand enough to invest in a Hydrovac Extreme II. What a disappointment this machine has been. It had been taken in for numerous repairs mostly associated with the carpet washing function. I had to replace multiple broken parts all while under guarantee and too soon for normal wear and tear. And yet the guarantee was never extended. Verimark lost the plot completely with this product, and it is best not to consider investing in it. To add insult to injury, the after-sales service at Kenilworth branch Cape Town leaves much to be desired. Employees are not very knowledgeable regarding the after-sales process and information, nor how to deal with machines returned from the workshop before collected by the client, and unfortunately display attitudes not conducive to positive client interactions.
