Genesis 10 in 1 doesn't do its job.

On January 21st of this year, I bought a Genesis 10 in 1 steamer from Verimark at N1 City at the full price of R1399.00. It didn't seem to steam too much but I don't have much experience with this type of appliance. On April 30th, it stopped working. I took it back to the N1 City shop the same day and was helped by Leslie. He plugged it in, switched it on and immediately told me that it was clear that the motor wasn't working. The unit was replaced. On 5th September, I was using it as a hand held steamer when it stopped working. I called the branch at Kenilworth Centre (closest to me) and was told to bring it in but that the repairman only collected and delivered on a Sunday. This was a Thursday. I took it in that afternoon and, to my surprise, it worked perfectly. I was puzzled but happy that it didn't need to be repaired. I used it last week and it didn't seem to be working 100% but did the job. This morning, I plugged it in, waited for it to heat up and started cleaning the floors. After about 10 minutes, it gave a big sigh and stopped working! No amount of coaxing would get it to produce any steam. I had to clean my floors on my hands and knees - no mean feat as I'm in my 60s and have had three major knee surgeries which make kneeling most uncomfortable and painful. I'm not going to have to take it back AGAIN to be fixed. Sorry that I bought this product.
