BUYING A GENESIS VACUUM CLEANER IS A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME, THE PIPES ARE FLIMSY AND IT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE PROPER SUCTION FOR EVEN CARPETS

I bought a Genesis vacuum cleaner from Killarney Verimark, when I first bought the vacuum cleaner I had problems, the suction was so poor and I took it back to verimark who then told me that I must keep the bottom half of the machine and they took the motor in for service, given back to me but still the suction was still not great and to actually get dust or bits of dirt from my Persian rugs had to apply a bit more pressure and by applying a little pressure the tubular pipes are really flimsy that they crack at the joins, in fact the joins are so flimsy and the reason for that if it cracks on the ends one has to buy a new fittings this is a business gimmick, the Killarney branch has now closed and I had to take it to the rose bank branch and was dealt by a guy called Morris, the other salesman was pleasant, they told me to take the pipes back which I refused and they told me I have to buy new fittings, I told them do what you have to do, you can throw it in the dustbin if you want because it’s no use to me, the motor I left with them with the previous receipt for the service, the suction of the motor I would say it’s about 10% of a normal vacuum cleaner, I am an estate manager and we use the Hoover and karcher and I would say in comparison to these machines the suction is about 10% and the problems needs to be addressed, I am not the only one today I was at Makro looking at vacuum cleaners a gentleman advised me that never buy the genesis as he also had endless problem and the amount of money he spent he could have bought an industrial machine, he had to buy the pipes all the times as it is so flimsy made
