BAD QUALITY - i-Play Glow Track Crash Set from Verimark
I purchased a i-Play Glow Track Crash Set from Verimark on 1 December 2021.
This was obviously a Christmas gift. On Christmas eve, we opened the gifts with the kids, and while setting up, one of the cars buttons on the top was already forced in and could not come out. Please bare in mind that us adults set it up and not the kids. My nephew could then only play with 1 car. Two days later, the second cars button was in and could not come out. With it being holidays, it was set aside until I contacted Verimark to find out what we can do about this situation. I was advised that "Due to the nature of the toys and the use thereof by kids who do not necessarily apply adequate caution or follow the recommended usage instructions, toys may only be exchanged subject to having a manufacturing defect within a period not exceeding 15 days after purchase".
Also, "Exchanges are only allowed if: 1. The item is returned in its original condition, with all parts and the original packaging – accompanied by the original proof of purchase. 2. There is no visible damage to the item. 3. If the item is believed to have a manufacturing defect when assessed by a Verimark representative.
Now how can it be in the original condition if we set it up with stickers and all, then attempted to use the cars?
Even if we left it to be reported on Christmas day, it would still have been out of time of that 15 days.... And when you purchase items from them, they say " Quality Guaranteed"....
Anyway... I feel that this is an unfair matter as it was a ****py item to begin with and the poor child got no use of it at all and I can do nothing about it because of the stupid 15 days... regardless of the fact that it was pre purchased.

Verimark will not be held liable if the toy has been damaged during use and is under no obligation to exchange the product. Exchanges are at Verimark’s discretion.
When purchasing children's goods and toys you must ensure that these goods and toys are used for the age group as described on the packaging, for purpose for which they were designed and with parental supervision. We will not be liable for any damages suffered by you or any other person caused by the misuse and/or abuse of the children's goods and toys bought from Verimark. All liability for such damages shall remain with the supplier of the children's goods and toys.

Clearly you think that everyone does last minute Christmas shopping.
Another fact of the matter is that your website says " Quality Guaranteed".
That is a lie!
I will warn everyone that I know to NEVER purchase ANYTHING from Verimark!!!!
