<p>Below the mail I sent to Verimark regarding the poor quality of their Bauer replacement pans.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am truly disappointed with the poor quality of the exchange 28cm pans. Yesterday I went to the Menlyn store to exchange my old pan, paid the R279 fee and walked out, as I left the store, I noticed the weight difference, the exchange unit is much lighter, went back in and chatted with the assistant, he assured me that these are the same as your new units. Last night I cooked some vegetables in the new pan, just as I lifted the pan off the stove, the handle came off. I went back to the store this morning and the assistant was truly helpful, he exchanged the pan. While I was waiting, I went to the shelf and picked up a new pan, surprise, surprise! It is the same quality and weight as my old pan. I then told the assistant to cancel the sale, my old pan was still in the store, even as old as it is, it's still better than the exchange units. I STILL want to exchange my old pan, but, it must be for the same quality as the new units on the shelf, not the cheaper version of the exchange unit, on these, even the handle is not as good as the new on the shelf.<br />Another thing, I have three lids for the Bauer pans I own, the handles are all perished, how come they are not available new in the stores? I don't need new lids, only the handles. I would appreciate some sort of feedback. Thank you.</p>
