VERICRED - RUDE *********** AND *******
Today I have never been as disgusted as I am with the service I have received from this company. Firstly an email was sent on 28 Jan 2018 to inform them they my account will be paid by month end Feb and March. Upon sending this email I had received a phone call from one of their consultants who did not say where she was calling from but queried the account so i had thought she was calling from Ampath. She also confirmed the amount owing which was not the amount with interest charged. After all this I only received a sms from VeriCred on 30 January 2018 after I had sent an email notifying me that i was handed over so clearly your admin doesnt gel well. However when I called this morning the lady on the other side was rude, unprofessional and refused to give me her name and insisted I will pay their interest but to my argument the lady who called me to confirm the arrangement had not given me all the proper detail so why should i pay the interest and as i knew she had slammed the phone in my ear. I called again and the second lady said there is no supervisor and had slammed the phone in my ear too. My third call they picked up and dropped the phone and my fourth call a lady also picked up and half way through explaining she also slammed the phone in my ear. After calling again i got through to someone and she assisted me but also said i am liable for the interest even though your company and their staff are very *********** and dont give out proper information. She had given me the number for the branch who is dealing with this account and AS USUAL nothing to my surprise they did not answer or either rejected my call. BELIEVE ME this is not the last you will be hearing from me. I will name and shame VERICRED on all sorts of social media. I am tired of people trying to sponge out money from me for their poor lack of professionalism. I suggest you listen to the recording of the call, check all admin correspondence etc because you are a bunch of unprofessional and rude people. As for your interest ask your bunch of rude women that slam the phone down in my ear to deduct it from their salaries as i will not leave this as is. let me be the example I set for your incompetence and rudeness!
Good day Thasha, thank you for you report. Further to your comments, we hereby wish to re-iterate the following: your allegations of so called 'rude' staff will be investigated, as we treat this in a serious light and our calls are duly recorded . Please take cognisance of the fact that there were problems being experienced with the phone lines whereby calls were cut which is receiving urgent attention and as such no phones were 'dropped' in your ear. A call also cuts out after a few minutes. Be that as it may, your overdue pathologist account, of which you were the patient at date of service, was handed over for collection due to non-payment by you end at the of January 2018. The normal correct channels were followed in the debt collection processes. Sms's were sent to you also whereby the contact details were evident to enquire about the account in question. Contrary to your comments on a public forum, there is no INTEREST being charged on your overdue medical account as you claim. There in fact the legal collection fees applicable for which you are liable in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998, as your overdue account was handed to a debt collector by our client who instructed us to collect the outstanding monies on their behalf in terms of the contract. VeriCred is registered with the Council for Debt Collectors as well as the Association of Debt Recovery Agents and as such are not '*******' as you allege, but legally entitled and obliged to charge in the collection process. Please fami****ise yourself with the relevant charges by a debt collector on the Council's website: 'www.cfdc.org.za'. We shall request the relevant branch to forward you the account invoice coupled with our agent statement reflecting the necessary details. After receipt of said information, it will be in your own interest to you conclude repayment arrangements as a matter of urgency to avoid the escalation of further collection fees. Yours sincerely, VERICRED COLLECTIONS.
