VeriCred not Very Credible
After a clerical error, I was contacted by a recoveries agent at VeriCred on a Friday afternoon to mention that I was handed over and listed on the credit bureau. This statement was made incorrectly and when I met with their supervisor at their office to get more information she said the call was handled well even though the multiple statements made on the recording of the call clearly stated that my details were listed on the credit bureau. I had to contact the Hospital Accounts team to finally clarify this situation and resolve it.

The agent in question's comments was incorrect as we as a collection company nor the hospital blacklist consumers on any credit bureaux. The error is sincerely regretted. We hereby place on record that the relevant Supervisor has offered apologies to yourself in this regard as well as as to the Hospital Group. Please take cognisance that your overdue hospital account which was handed over for collection was subsequently withdrawn from VeriCred at the hospital's request. Regards
