Vericred is the worst
this company got the rudest agents ever, just had a call with a lady named Gina, she told me the school handed my account over. I have my statements from school but the amount she says im owing is definitely not what I'm seeing at these statements. I asked for a rundown on how I owe that ridiculous amount, she did not even know how and she became all rude, she used a non-English language didn't even understand what she was saying, as if that was not enough she hung up on me, what the hell.

All our calls are duly recorded and subsequent to investigations, disciplinary action was instituted towards the agent in question. Our agents strictly work in accordance to a code of conduct. Be that as it may, the specific institution handed your overdue account over for collection and instructed us to collect the outstanding monies on their behalf. As a result the book was not bought from them. The additional amount is not a "ridiculous amount" as mentioned but in fact is the legal collection fees accrued in the collection processes in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998. The relevant costs by a debt collector is evident on the Council for Debt Collectors' website for your perusal, i.e. www.cfdc.org.za. Regards,VeriCred Collections
