VeriCred has no communication
I was contacted unexpectedly by VeriCred! They informed me that I had defaulted on an Ampath account! As I have never defaulted on any account, and will never do so! I enquires about the contact detail that were supp****, and found that my name was incorrectly spelt! I immediately requested that they send me the invoice for payment! I requested for them to supply me with the company who had handed me over, as I had not received an invoice or call prior to this telephone conversation. They informed me that it was a Doctor that had handed me over, so I directly proceeded to contact the doctor, to demand they supply me with an invoice! As it turned out, the doctor was not to blame, as Ampath was the culperate! I had still not received an invoice from VeriCred by the following day, so I made contact with them once again! I then enquired about the invoice once again, and got some story about having to wait a week to receive it. The invoice arrived on 14 Feb, I was then contacted by VeriCred for payment terms, I rep**** that I did not need terms, as I had never received an invoice, and that I would not be paying any charges, from VeriCred. Made payment 17th, and received a second invoice
Thank you for your report. Please take cognisance of the fact that Ampath handed the account over for collection due to non-payment, and the outstanding balance is in respect of the legal collection fees. We have however waived the outstanding costs as a gesture of goodwill and the account in question is thus repaid.
Please be guided accordingly.
