VERICRED Foshini are *****s

Hello Peter,

The Foshini group - Vericred debt collectors are daylight ******s. Firstly if you are struggling to pay your account because of the current state of the economy it stems to reason that your interests and agent costso from a debt collector shouldn't be as high the instalment. I have been diligently paying this account and it does not go down at all. I have done a loose comparison with the likes of MBD and this does not seem like standard practice. They charge you for calls they don't send statementa until requested. The agents are rude so what exactly am I been charged for. This is ridiculous and they should be held accountable for robbing people.

Good day Tshepiso Hlanga, further to the accusations, please take note of the following: your overdue account was handed to a debt collector because of non-payment by you. We can assure you VeriCred is not "*****s"; "daylight ******s" or "robbing people" as you claim on this forum. There is naturally charges incurred by a debt collector. Please note that VeriCred is registered with the Council for Debt Collectors and the Association of Debt Recovery agents (ADRA) and our charges are strictly in accordance with the laid down procedures as stipulated in the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998. Please fami****ise yourself with the relevant charges on the Council's website: www.cfdc.org.za. In addition, interest is being charged on the outstanding balance and is being referred to as 'mora interest'. Your account was handed over in November 2017 and to date you have made only three payments. We suggest that you make regular monthly payments to eliminate the escalation of unnecessary further cost. Regards, VeriCred Collections .
