Vericred Ampath bad attitude in dealing with collect, statements to legit your collection not sms

Was hospitalised in Nov 2016, For 4 days. Ampath did the blood test, in December got a statement stating I have not paid some R650.5 cost beginning of January 2017, I called and I told the to re claim as i was in hospital at the time LA health should have paid the account as I admitted and I don't have money to pay them. Few statement received, then stopped. Received an sms saying I owe ampath from some debt collectors July or August 2017. No letter is statements. in October 2017 when I got R650.5 cash I paid ampath directly faxed and emailed the proof of payment.The sms stopped. when they restarted, then the calls started, stating I owe ampath. whoever called I told them that Ampath is paid I have proof, they should send me a statement non came. Latter I sent an email to ampath and vericred with proof of payment, ampath responded saying they claimed it was rejected, not sure if they did or not that is why they put my account for debt collection but as per claims on my medical claims history it showed they only claim once in November 2016 and according to my medical aid they did not put a reclaim of the outstanding balance.sms stopped, they started again in 13 July 2019 stating I owe ampath R412.48 , lady by the name of Thandeka, from vericred called from *** last week 25 July 2019, I again explained my same story, she confirmed that she noticed that I have paid they got proof, I told her to email me a statement I need something in writing detailing all the cost and I told her as I would pay the cost of ampath hadding me over up to December 2017 not any other cost cause I have settled the account directly with ampath in October 2017, she said she will speak to her supervisor about reducing the cost.and also she will email the statement, she called again saying the supervisor said I'm liable for the cost, I told her she must send the statement I need to see what they are charging me will also speak to my lawyer's what I'm liable for. Statement has not been sent as yet ????. Now I've been getting calls from a similar nmber. Calls are irritating when some calls and no one speaks on the other line call is dropped.
