unprofessional credit collectors
Hello , i heard about you from a friend i have a problem and i need help, I was owning a sportscene card which i used for some time i was paying it very well but it got to a point where my job contract ended and at the moment i was still owing sportscene, so i could not pay for some time and i was handed over to the VERICRED COLLECTIONS , then time came i got a job and a vericred agent called me and told me about my card and that i was handed over to them so i agreed that we make a debit order of R400 every month after he told me they were gonna send me a proof of payment so i can settle the account , so they deducted all the money that i was owing including their additional charges, the day after the last payment i called them requesting the proof that i have paid but their agents would keep me hanging until the call is hanged i call for several days they never assisted me , two weeks passed and i was called and i was told that i was owing R290 which i dont know where it comes from , i have all the proof of payments please help!!
We are however not 'credit' collectors as you claim but 'debt' collectors. Your credit provider, i.e. our client, handed over your debt, i.e. your account, to us again for collection. We can assure you we are not acting 'unprofessional' as we are investigating with our client why the account was handed over again as it seems it was done in error. In the interim a 'hold' was placed on the account, we will thus be in a position to revert to yourself upon feedback and clarity received from them.
