My credit score is bad because they fail to update it no matter how many payments I have made to them. They also do bot update their statements. So you keep on paying and paying and your “amount” stays the same.

- We are debt collectors, not a credit bureau and as a result we are not responsible for your credit trecord nor the update of it. All payments made by you are duly paid over to the Foschini group in terms of the contract at hand. Your credit profile will only be updated by the service provider once your outstanding account is paid in full. Under the circumstances we amicably suggest that you take it up with TFG in this regard.
- Your overdue account was handed over for collection in July 2019 whereas you only commenced with repayment some seven months later in February 2020. Please take cognisance that you do not only pay the capital amount that was handed over, but is also responsible for the interest charges on the outstanding balance as well as the legal collection fees accrued in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998. The relevant charges by a debt collector is evident on the Debt Collectors Council's website for your perusal: www.cfdc.org.za. Regards.
