Trying to recover debt that isn't due
From what I understand, this company buys debt and then tries to recover it. However, I paid off my RCS loan through CSS last year. They offered me a 35% discount, and I paid the settlement. I also received a letter from CSS confirming that my account was settled. I can only assume that VeriCred is now trying to recover the amount that was discounted to me. Please stop calling me every day to recover money that I don't owe.

However, contrary to belief, we did not 'fetch' or request your account, it was recently handed over to us by RCS whereby we were instructed to collect on it and we are thus not at fault in this regard.
Please take cognisance that we are investigating your allegations with your service provider, i.e. our client. In the interim a 'hold' was placed on the account in question pending feedback and clarity received from them.
