Total disgrace how they treat people, because their clients didn't do their work properly.

Dr Stepping from Parklands uses *********** staff and makes her customers pay for their incompetence. I have paid Dr Stepping in payments, and ended up paying more than I owed her. Eventually I received a phone call from her collection department that she handed me over to them.

Vericred, whom she is using, are also just wanting their interest from me, although I stated to them multiple times, that I was handed over, without being contacted by their customer Dr Stepping, whom didn't follow the procedures to contact me, and to inform me that I in fact still owe them money.

I have never received a phone call, nor an e-mail from Dr Stepping's offices, stating that I owe them money, and will be handed over if I don't pay them. Now they want me pay the interest on that amount, again of which I paid more than I owed them. This being to the lack of competency of her staff, doing their work and phoning customers.

I even explained it to the company she handed me over to. They (Daniel) even confirmed my payments to Dr Stepping, and after telling him how can I be handed over in this situation. They keep on harassing me now, even after they themselves confirmed that payments was made.

They did the same with my sister, and she also refused to pay the interest and it was written off, Same story, never informed her, never a phone call or email as well. Again, due them not doing their work. My other sister was called from their offices that the Dr wants see her. After sitting for over and hour, the DR said " No I didn't". They are rude and have now manners. Again, *********** in their work.

Why must I pay for their incompetence and her staff not doing their work like they should. How can they keep me responsible for Interest and hand me over because they didn't do their work.

I have paid R1033 of which I owed R952. They want me to pay R300 odd interest because her staff cant do their work correctly. As far as I know, you cant just hand someone over without phoning them and informing them that they still owe money.

They are downright ******** their customers. I have proof of all payments made, and up to date they cant answer me why they didn't phone or email me, to state I will be handed over if not paying. Nor have they given me any proof that they attempted to.

After speaking to their Vericred manager Anna, They are just as rude, and insist that I WILL pay the arrears, although again, Dr Stepping and her employees didnt follow procedure to inform me, that I owe them money. The more I try and explain that I wasnt contacted by Dr Stepping, the more she carries on I owe them money. After asking if she has my account in front her, she said yes, But she cant give me any indication that Dr Stepping tried to make contact with me. They just assume that I am in the wrong, without having their facts in front of them.

My ref: ********** **********

Let me just correct the first paragraph; Vericred phoned me in May to tell me I was handed over to them by DR Stepping, who never informed me in any way, that I owe them money. After speaking to my Medical aid, I again talked to Vericred, and started paying them. I did however told them, I will only pay the amount owed to Dr Stepping as I was never contacted by HER or staff, stating that I owe her any money. I feel its only fair, that since it was Dr Stepping's staff who didnt do their job, cover the interest. Because, if she contacted me to say that I do owe her money, I would've paid it before hand.
