On the 26th of July I accidentally paid a very large amount of money into Vericreds account. I notified them immidiately and filled out all the documentation they required to return my money. I explained to them I am pregnant and very urgently need that money back. They have refused to refund my money to me until 45 days have passed claiming it is their policy. We all know that they can return these funds within a couple of days legally I believe this is theft in a way - they have my money and won't rerun it.

However, as is correctly mentioned by you, all required steps need to be followed in the refund process as it is strict company policy. The measures were instituted to protect all parties concerned due to the high volumes of ***** occurring, even if money was paid by mistake into our banking account. These strict guidelines need to be adhered to under all circumstances and no exceptions can unfortunately be entertained in this regard. The excess monies will thus be paid out to you upon expiring of the required waiting period.

Surly a fair and sufficient amount of time once all documents have been received and investigated is max 7 - 15 days like it is for most companies?
