******* company that are ******!

This is one of the most *********** companies I’ve ever had to deal with. The call centre agents are very rude. I called the company to trace my debts in an attempt to settle it, I was then sent from pillar to post. I had to call in 4 times to get my statement sent to me. I was first told to call the head office, I called the head office only to be told to call the other branch. On the second day after having failed to get any help on the first day I called and spoke to Tina. Vericred insists I owe 10k but when I checked my credit with transunion and another company I shows that I only owe R1300. I then called vericheck to find out where the extra R8700 was coming they asked me to talk to a Nelly Robertson who was so rude. She is the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to in my entire life. She did not explain to me where the money was coming from but instead hung up on me. Nelly Robertson is very very rude and also quite ***********. I really have no idea where this company gets their employees.

Hello LEHLOHONOLO MKAGASENG, we refer to your report. Please take cognisance that your defamatory comments of being '*******' and "******" on a public forum is totally unfounded and unnecessary. We can assure you that VeriCred is a totally legit and reputable company who has been in existence for 29 years and is registered with the Council for Debt Collectors as well as ADRA. Your allegations of a 'rude' staff member however will duly be investigated as our agents work according to a code of conduct. All our calls are recorded and if the agent was found to have been rude as is being claimed, full disciplinary procedures will be instituted. Be that as it may, you were handed to a collection company because you did not pay your overdue account. There will naturally be collection fees in the collection processes in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 119 of 1998, coupled with interest accrued on the outstanding amount. You were listed on the credit bureau prior to handover by our client for their outstanding portion. hence the fact that it differs with the outstanding balance and what is owed by you, as it includes outstanding interest and collection cost. Please fami****ise yourself with the applicable costs by a debt collector be referring to the Council's website: www.cfdc.org.za. We have arranged for the senior Supervisor of the relevant branch to forward you a statement and explain the outstanding balance. We shall revert in due course upon completion of our investigations into the alleged rudeness of the staff member. Regards, VeriCred Collections (Pty) Ltd
