PLease stop VeriCred
Vericred - Collecting for Ampath. They use multiple phone number. They phone day and night, whether you are at church or work they do not care. Early hours of the morning till late at night. I went as far as giving them my bank details to collect the outstanding amount with a monthly Debit Order and still they could not solve their own problem. They are now still blaming me for not paying the outstanding amount. Can they be stopped from doing this and from adding money on a daily basis for the phone calls. I have about 6 names of contact persons whom I have been dealing with. They have no communication between staff whatsoever and no notes are made on their systems to indicate that the client has been contacted. Can they PLEASE stop or be stopped.
The fact of the matter is that the overdue and outstanding account was handed to us as debt collectors by our client due to non-payment already on 3 November 2021 with no payments to date after 5 months. Our client instructed us to collect the outstanding monies on their behalf hence calls and sms's going out. We can as such not 'stop' to contact a debtor on an outstanding account as we are obligated to collect on the account until such time that it is settled in full.
However, our records reflect that recent calls made to your number was last on 8 APRIL and then only again on 25 APRIL, i.e more than two weeks apart and as such no excessive calls are being made. Please note that we definitely do not phone 'late at night' as is being claimed. We hereby place on record that there are no excessive or unnecassary costs added to the account and all charges are strictly in accordance with the Debt Collectors Act. For information purposes please refer to the charges by a debt collector on the website of the Debt Collectors Council: www.cfdc.org.za.
Kind regards.
