I made a payment on the 28/10/2017 at Absa bank. I was advised I would receive a paid up letter as soon as I made payment. I have not received it. The supervisor that dealth with my query is Belinda Braam from Bellville Braam who is now not responding to my emails. Old mutual advised it is waiting for instruction from vericred that payment.

Good day Wendy, thank you for bringing this to our attention. A paid up letter can only be issued once the payment reflects in the account and when the account is in fact paid up. At present your payment does not show as yet and the account in question is thus not finalised. As you claim you made payment on Saturday 28/10, the month end exports are still in progress and it will in all likeliness only reflect later today. Under the circumstances your account will be monitored and the letter will be forwarded to yourself once the payment reflects and the account is paid in full. Regards, VeriCred Collections (Pty) Ltd

I spoke to Saddika earlier in your branch and she confirmed that payment did come through and had received proof of payment sent. Payment does not take that long to reflect if it was done at the bank directly. Please kindly verify information before replying and ensure you reply with correct information. Belinda just sent an email asking for the reference number and I wonder how is this possible when she was he one that had sent the initial settlement letter with a reference number. She has not rep****.

Good day Wendy, the account in question has been finalised. The 'clearance letter' (which is a paid up letter) will be forwarded to you under separate advice to the email address details as stipulated in this review. Said letter needs to be presented to the service provider in order to have your default status updated on the credit bureaux. Regards, VeriCred Collections (Pty) Ltd
