Non Caring Attitude.
I have been harrassed by Vericred Collectors due to an account that was handed over from Ampath on my ex-husband's name.
Ampath put my name on the account as surety but none of the consent was given by me that I will stand surety for the account.
On numerous occasions I have informed Vericred that I will not be responsible and gave them my ex-husbands contact details. I have also confirmed with Ampath that th account was amended by them in September 2020 and they sent correspondence to them again in February 2021 stating they must remove me, but I still get phone calls from them insisting that I am responsible.
This is totally unacceptable. How can I be held accountable for an account that I never gave consent on. I want this sorted out ASAP.
Kindly note that the account in question reflects in your name which was handed over for collection with your details and that the patient of the service date specifically instructed us to contact yourself.
Be that as it may, we took the matter up with our cleint, who duly confirmed that you are not responsible for the account, and confirmed that they omitted to inform us about the changes. As a result they forwarded the correct details to amend the account accordingly, you will thus not be contacted again in this regard.
We trust that you find this in order. Kind regards.
