No room for negotiation? is this the mafia?
Explained that the email with particulars went into SPAM folder and that i experienced a deep personal loss at the time. Consultant was not empathetic and demanded settlement in full. I explained that I was prepared to pay a huge chunk in full & final settlement. No. Just no. I mean I could offer R50 a month for the next 5 years but no, no discount, go about it how you please but no discount - never. Ever. don't even ask. Do we live in a mafia state? Felt gangsta style. Like no, just no.
