Multiple calls to clients, confirming the same info.

Vericred is milking clients with making a lot of unnecessary calls, past week I got about 3-4 calls, confirming the same info. On the last call I got annoyed and started asking questions like why am I confirming the same info I confirmed on the last call? And also asked I who is going to be charged for these calls and the lady said on the last call they won't charge me, which is a lie. I asked a lot of questions and got lame answers, some where ridiculous, to a point where I asked myself why am I even wasting my time with the conversation, so the question I have is the money that I am paying does it go to the "clients" of their pockets because it is *************.

Dear MPHO M, thank you for your comments.
We can understand that you might feel agitated by being called regularly with regards to your outstanding account. Kindly note that being called for payment on your handed over account is legal and acceptable in the normal collection processes, also to remind you of the anticipated payment as the last payment to your account was in the beginning of August.
We can however confirm that no additional or unnecessary costs were added to your account as is being alleged. However, please bear in mind that if payment will not occur in October as being promised by you, you will be contacted again in this regard, and subsequently, until the account in question is settled.
Kindly note that VeriCred is registered with the Council for Debt Collectors and our charges are strictly in adherence to legislation. The relevant charges by a debt collector is evident on the Council's website for your perusal: www.cfdc.org.za
Kind regards.
