Indefensible Lethargy & Ineptitude
Why does VeriCred Collections keep contacting me about an alleged debt that was settled three months ago with the original service provider?
You are making major f00ls of yourselves by not first verifying whether alleged debts are indeed still valid claims.
So, if you contact me again over a debt that was paid months ago already, I will lodge a formal complaint for unjustifiable harassment against you at the NCR and the Credit Ombud because your slackness does not licence you to make false allegations.
I hope that I have been sufficiently clear.

30 Jul 2020, 14:39Good day PATRICK, thank you for you report. Please note that our client did not inform us that you have settled the account in question. Upon subsequent investigations they admitted the error and confirmed that it is paid in full. As a result they have instructed us to retract and close the account accordingly. Regards,VeriCred Collections

30 Jul 2020, 15:42Your excuses are simply not good enough! As claimant, the onus is on YOU to prove that you indeed have a LEGITIMATE claim BEFORE contacting alleged debtors. This holds true despite the fact that you are acting on behalf of another party.
If that means you regularly have to validate the claims of your clients who have given you a mandate to collect debts for them, then that is what you MUST do.
To then try and avoid responsibility by saying in effect, "Oh, but we didn't know because nobody told us" is the pinnacle of gutless dodging. You have a DUTY to find out first! And all the more so in view of the fact that I repeatedly told your brain-dead agents that the alleged debt had been settled with the original creditor.
No, your slimy, unconscionable excuse-mongering is transparently unconvincing, leaves me entirely cold, and renders you even more contemptible in my opinion because you are very clearly avoiding action that would fix this deplorable deficiency in your systems.

30 Jul 2020, 16:40Please pay proper attention to what I'm saying. That way you may actually learn something new.
I'm well aware that you THINK you have solved the problem. You haven't. All you've done is remove a solitary instance of the problem without doing anything to ensure that it doesn't recur.
If VeriCred had a single bone of decency in its collective body, there would be keen interest in figuring out a way to stop this type of problem from happening again. And I'll remind you that this is the second, almost third, decade of the 21st century: We have the Internet and computers and virtually instant information exchange at our fingertips. Given any interest, it's not at all a hard technical problem to solve.
But you have made it abundantly clear that no such interest exists, and so I will continue to hold you in the profoundest contempt, and to use the responses here to substantiate my contention that you are no more than exploitative, bottom-feeding vampires.
