HARASSMENT
I WILL NOT PAY THIS <br> <br> 2012 i had my son ( prembaby) he was in hosptl for a month UNDER his Dad's Medical aid and all the hosptl bills were billed accordingly and paid by his scheme ACCEPT for 3 invoices that AMPATH decided to bill onto my medical aid and were rejected because he was UNDER his Dad's . i was then handed over to VeriCred .After i got call from Vericred collections i contacted Ampath and queried why this was done incorrectly , last 2 emails received read as follows from Mabel Motshoane at AMPATH<br> FIRST EMAIL: 07 July 2014.<br> According to our records the account was submitted with the correct medical aid details and has been paid in full by the medical aid. The balance is zero.<br> <br> SECOND EMAIL: We kindly confirm that there are few accounts for patient (MY SON ), one account (JFT49144) is under main member (HIS DAD) and it has been paid in full by the medical aid.<br> Please note that the accounts (JET74140,JEU41839,JEV42938) for same patient under the main member (HIS MOTHER ) were rejected by the medical aid and have been handed over to the external collectors (VCB).<br> <br> WHY DID THEY BILL ONE (JFT49144) TO HIS DAD & THE REST TO MINE? <br> <br> AND VERICRED DONT CARE THEY JUST WANT TO BILL

It seems you have problems with Ampath yet you attack VeriCred on this public forum, who got instructions from our client to collect your outstanding accounts. We took the liberty to follow up with our client, who informed that the information they received on these accounts were supp**** by the hospital at the time. It was your duty to check that the details are 100% correct. Ampath also advised that you haver never queried this with them at all, and whenever Ampath or VeriCred tried to contact you, you have slammed the phone down on several occasions when you hear it is in connection with these accounts, Furthermore the medical aid would have sent out statements to inform you accordingly why the accounts were not paid. You have mentioned to our agents previously that Ampath and the med aid apparently said it is sorted out yet you have never supp**** any relevant proof. Under the circumstances you are liable to pay these outstanding accounts due to the aforementioned and will still be contacted in this regard until repaid in full. It is in your best interest to conclude repayment arrangements to eliminate the accrual of additional legal collection fees.
