Falure to update but quick to threaten

I had a loan that was handed over to Vericred - i received a letter from them sometime in September where they were threatening to attach my goods to settle the loan. This is after i had contacted ABSA looking to settle the loan but was told they could not pick the loan from their system, i eventually settled the loan after a 50% discount offered - this was in September .. We are now in the second week of November. I Have chased for a paid up letter - i hardly receive updates and frankly being ignored. i am not happy with the service at all. this is pathetic
