FALSELY BILLED
<p>I have a problem with DUT as well as Vericred, in June this year (2016) i received a call from them stating I owe fees for DUT and I was studying at DUT from 2012 - 2013 and had paid up the fees before i graduated which was in August 2013. I was studying under bursary from my company have receipt to prove that the account was indeed paid up.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have never received any letter or communication from them at all until i receved a call from Vericred who says they are doing collections for DUT because i hadnt paid up the fees. I told them i do have proof to show that i have paid and have sent it through to them via email. I have not eccepted any form of liability to them but they are still calling me and sending me threating emails about handing me over.</p> <p> </p> <p>Their email address is ********** their contact number ********** 100. I first delt with Lungisa whom they have mentioned is no longer working for them. My ref no with them is ********** ********** . I have asked them to send me proof of correspondes from them for 2013 but they only sent me a statement dated 11 May 2017. </p>

Please take note that the reason why you were still being contacted was in respect of the outstanding collection fees accrued, as the capital amount was paid after handover. We have however, due to the time lapse, agreed to write off the costs as a gesture of goodwill. The account in question is thus finalised and closed with VeriCred.

Even though they are still not speaking the entire truth since I was never contacted by them before making the capital amount but I’m glad the matter is closed.
