Failure to provide paid up letter and final statement
My niece had an outstanding balance with PC College and could not register for 2017. The debt was the handed over to VeriCred. I have tried and sacrificed so much in 2017 to pay off the debt and I eventually did in October 2017. I then asked for the final statement and paid up letter and since then I have been taken from pillar to post. And they refuse to give me this after paying off +-R10 000. I am disgusted by their behavior and it really bothers on ********* conduct. If i do not recieve feedback from them within this week, I am taking this matter up with the Council for Debt Collectors because what they are doing, refusing to give me a final statement is surely *******.

A fee is payable on the issuing of a paid up letter in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998, which you were not prepared to pay. Under the circumstances a 'zero balance 'statement was forwarded accordingly on the account in question.
