Constant harrassment for PAID account

Contrary to your comments, you claim to have paid an account already in 2018 however your overdue pathologist account in was only handed over for collection to us by our client in JANUARY 2019 because it was not paid. There is also no indication that you ever forwarded us any relevant proof to substantiate your claims in order for us to investigate accordingly. Be that as it may, please take cognisance that we have taken it up with our client on your behalf, who duly confirmed that the overdue account in question, whereby you were the patient for services rendered, is NOT paid as you allege and is in fact still outstanding. Under the circumstances we will still contact you for full payment, inclusive of the legal debt collection fees in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998, until your overdue account is paid in full. We have forwarded you earlier today the full details and invoice as received from our client. Should you have paid the specific account like you mention, we amicably request that you forward the relevant proof in this regard as a matter of urgency to be investigated, as you could have used an incorrect reference/account number etc, hence the payment(s) not allocated and reflecting.
