Clearance Letter!!!
I have been calling requesting for a settlement letter for my Sportscene account Only to be told today that I need to pay R37 or else they won't issue such letter. That's on top of the receipting fee they charged on my account.

Kindly note that the charge and receipting fee referred to is in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998, Annexure B, as your overdue account was handed to debt collectors. The relevant charges by a debt collector is evident on the website of the Council for Debt Collectors for your perusal: www.cfdc.org.za. You need to forward said letter to the service provider to have your adverse details updated on the credit bureaux since they listed you prior to handover. Kind regards.
