Bad service
<p>I owed R6186.89 to Markams, after which they handed me over to Verivred , after paying about R3000.00 i still owed 5950.86</p> <p> </p> <p>I really cant belive this -</p>
Good day, further to your comments, please note that there is no relation to any "bad service" as you allege. Your overdue account was handed over for collection already in October 2015, you commenced with repayment in March 2016, i.e. 5 months later. In addition to your outstanding balance, interest is being legally charged on the outstanding balance at a rate of 9% p.a. Also, due to the fact that your overdue unpaid account was handed to a collection agency, there are naturally charges and fees involved in terms of the Debt Collectors Act, 114 of 1998. Kindly take cognisance of the fact that VeriCred Collections (Pty) Ltd is registered with the Council for Debt Collectors as well as the Association of Debt Recovery Agents (ADRA). All our charges are thus strictly in terms of the laid down procedures as stipulated in the Act. To fami****ise yourself with the applicable charges by a debt collector please refer to the council's website: www.cfdc.org.za. These charges exclude VAT of 14%.
