Bad debt And Written Off Debt
Good day<br> <br> I spoke to Anita at Vericred yesterday and according to me my Rcs account should have been written off as this is Bad debt , and this matter reached prescription . I settled this account with Rcs in 01-Jul-2013 for the amount of -3124.00 and yet they still went to add fees every month and handed me over after I explained several times that this matter was settled . I have now been blacklisted due to Rcs . If this matter is not finalised today I will take this matter with the Obudsman and provide all communications and lack of feedback from the Attorneys . <br> <br> Regards

Thank you for your report. We would however like to reiterate that VERICRED did by no means err in any way and under the circumstances the matter should have been raised on the forum of RCS, our client. Vericred did not collect the outstanding account from RCS, it was handed over to us by our client due to non-payment. Be that as it may, we took the liberty to investigate with our client on your behalf. It was written off by them and subsequently handed over for collection. In conclusion, our client RCS advised that you are liable for the amount outstanding and that your credit record will only be updated once the account in question is paid in full (inclusive of the legal collection fees). Under the circumstances VeriCred will continue to contact you and collect on the account upon our client's instructions until such time that it is paid. Should you have any further queries or concerns in this regard we suggest that you contact the RCS Group. Please be guided accordingly.
