Are they legit?
I have 2 accounts with Vericred collections. They sent me an offer to settle my 1 account buy when I called no1 was able to see the offer that I was sent and the calculation for the discount was completely wrong. I have then also requested statements from them but have not been able to recieve any and when I asked why my payments are not being reported to the Credit Bureaus the call was dropped on me. I don't know what type of operation they are running but it seems very *****...!

10 Feb 2021, 16:29Good day Nangamso T, further to previous reports: the discount on the account in question could not be calculated correctly due to a system error. This was however subsequently corrected. We place on record that you were contacted by our agents regarding the discount and that you have confirmed that you cannot settle now and would like to continue paying via debit order. With regards to your paymenmts, please take cognisance that we are not responsible for updating payments on the any credit bureau. All payments made are paidover to your service provider (our cleint) and you are to refer to them in this regard. Please note that your credit profile will only be updated by the service provider (who listed you prior to handover) once the outstanding account is settled in full. Kind regards.
