Further to your reply, please note that Ampath did not contact me at all about the outstanding amount. I was there in November for further blood tests Perhaps they should do their job before getting you involved I will never use them again!!!!! if you check my rating you will see I have an excellent credit score. Absolutely pathetic that due deligence is not being carried out before one gets credit collection agencies involved and that the patient needs to foot the extra charges

06 Dec 2024, 14:21Good day Miranda L, further to your review, it is evident that the issue you have is with our client, i.e. who rendered the services to you and who handed your overdue account over due to non payment. Under the circumstances we amicably suggest that you take it up with them who provided the service/s to you. Please note that they instructed us to collect on the outstanding account on their behalf.
Our client duly confirmed that they do send out statements of outstanding accounts as well as sms's (with the relevant contact information provided by you on date of service), to inform their members/patients of any outstanding accounts prior to handover. It is further the responsibility of the main member/patient to follow up with their respective med aids etc. to establish which accounts or portions thereof were not paid/covered, in addition to the med aid also sending out statements regularly.
Please take note of the fact that your credit rating is not being affected in any way as is being alleged, neither your service provider/our client nor us list any medical accounts on any credit bureau.
