I received a letter from Vericred telling me they will not 'tolerate' me not paying my account any longer! This is the height of unprofessionalism not to mention a disgusting way to treat people. I also dont appreciate the tone of this email and being spoken to in this manner. People are still people and deserve to be treated with dignity. Not all people who have outstanding unpaid accounts are ******* no-gooders. Seeing the doctor is out of my control for my serious and chronic medical conditions and there are times when the medical aid does not pay and i cannot afford to pay straight away. Seeing doctors nowadays is just a money making racket it would seem.

It is however a standardised letter which has been in circulation for a quite some time without any previous complaints in this regard and thus not aimed at you personally. The letter is being sent out when there has been no payment for quite some time to the account that was handed over for collection. The fact of the matter is that you have not effected payment on your overdue account since beginning of April 2017 with no further commitment of payment, hence the letter being sent out.
