ABSOLUTELY USELESS

MTN and Vericred is the absolute worst. I had taken a contract with MTN in 2023, and specifically signed debit order forms etc. Unsure how, but my contract was made a cash payment (unrealistic) and no correspondence was sent my way about this until I received a letter of demand for the full amount of the phone as they canceled the contract last year September, so the account was handed over to Vericred without my knowledge. Further to this, after agreeing with them on monthly cash payment with them and keeping to it. They suspended my phone so now I cannot use it. And then tell me I have been paying into the incorrect account after they provided me with the banking details. I'm so frustrated with MTN. And the consultants refuse to assist in anyway. Please never get a contract with these guys. They have been making my life hell. To add to this whole thing, they handed over my account to vericred, which in turn did not communicate the debit order and payment agreement made to MTN which in turn caused a hard suspension on the phone and messing up my credit score. I absolutely regret taking this contract.

Good day Nikita S****, thank you for review. From your comments it is apparent that you are dissatisfied with your service provider, our client, for handing your overdue account over for collection.
Our records reflect that your account was handed over in July 2024 and we were instructed to collect the outstanding. You have subsequently only made the first two payments four months later in November and then again in February.
Please check your emails, correspondence was sent to you today 21/02/2025 with the statement reflecting the payments made thus far and you were informed of the debit order that will strike on 01/03/2025.
It was also explained to you that, contrary to believe, ALL payments made to date were duly paid over to our client, regularly, as per the terms and conditions of the contract at hand, of which we have the relevant proof. Should they for whatever reason claim it is not received, they duly know the correct procedures and will liaise with the accounts dept. in this regard.
In conclusion, your d/o will only strike in March as informed previously, and once and only once the payment reflects on your account, it will then also be paid over to them, which will occur monthly and regularly after each d/o payment., if the payments are honored.
Your service provider, who listed your adverse details on the credit bureau prior to handover, will only update your credit record once your outstanding account is settled in full, and you will also receive a paid-up letter.
Kind regards.
