Watch out for Vered
1) The property was advertised as being in Melville, but was in fact in Westdene. This misleading advertising against the Consumer Protection act. We have brought this under the agent's attention, but this was ignored.
2) The agent claimed to be an independent contractor, but was using Vered documentation.
3) The documentation and correspondence was riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. This is unprofessional.
4) Our initial OTP was rejected. We then entered negotiation with the Seller via the agent. A price and terms was agreed upon via email and we were congratulated by the agent on the purchase. We then sent the a new offer to purchase with the agreed selling price. We were then informed by the agent that the offer was rejected, even after we agreed on the terms in writing.

We have written to the agent on two occasions. We have received a phone call from the principal acknowledging the second letter, but to our knowledge, nothing has been done to resolve the matter.

We find this lack of response perturbing, especially in the light of seriousness of the complaint.
