Cancelled Hotel - Not sorting it out as promised

I booked a hotel in Venice Locanda ai Bareteri Sept 2014 for a special rate through [URL Removed] This was confirmed as secured by [URL Removed] however the hotel decided to cancel my reservation despite this confirmation, leaving me without accommodation.<br> When I raised this with venere they assured they would sort out similar accommodation for me so that my holiday would not be ruined. They agreed the hotel had no right cancelling me, and they would make sure I paid the same special rate and any difference would be covered by them or the hotel that dumped me.<br> Venere are linked to Expedia and apparently sent my case to be resolved to a Relocation Dept of Expedia so that they would sort out replacement accommodation.<br> Nothing is being done for me. I have now sent 2 emails to this department and still no reply.<br> Accommodation in Venice for June is becoming more difficult and more expensive to obtain by the day.<br> I need someone to do something and provide equivalent accommodation to what was originally booked.<br> Come on [URL Removed] and [URL Removed] - my booking reference is ***8
