Veltrio warranties apparently only valid in Cape Town - Bad service and Product

Bought a cab slider window from Veltrio through Takealot. Product not manufactured very well and there seems to be parts missing causing it to rattle non-stop. Contacting them got me referred to Takealot and they again referred me back to Veltrio. Veltrio said they can help me but only if I come to their shop in Cape Town. I must drive ALL the way to Cape Town to receive warranty service as was promised BEFORE my purchase.

Takealot reviews and warranties worth nothing! Do NOT believe ratings of products on Takealot. They are not the true reflection of customer's real experiences. I bought a product from them. When I received I had it fitted it to my car. When driving it the first time after fitment I found that it rattled continuously. On inspection I found that there seems to be parts missing from it. I contacted the supplier; they referred me back to Takealot. Takealot just want to book a collect and return. I explained to them that it is fitted already. I was referred back to supplier. They said they can only help me if I come to Cape Town. Really? Drive all the way to Cape Town? So spoke to Takealot again and said if I can only get missing or correct parts I will have it repaired at my own cost. So, they closed the complaint and marked it resolved. It was not! So here I am sitting with a product with a warranty as advertised but Takealot say it is by the supplier and the supplier say they only fulfil the orders and the warranty is by Takealot. I did a temporary fix as the rattle was driving me nuts, very easy fix with the right parts. If only I can get either of the parties to listen and talk to me???? And to add to above review. When I did not get any assistance from Takealot I left a straight forward NON-rude, non-positive but honest (like this one) review of the product. It went for approval after submission and yes, you guessed it, it never made it onto the site as a review of the product.
