Greetings THANK YOU VELOX ****** I have been a customer for some almost 2 years. I try to get to the Auction as often as possible. I own a Buisness in Hout Bay. Restaurant in specific with a small kitchen. . On the 11th of March 2017 my comunity faced a disaster beyond people's imagination and catastrophic outcome that left some 12 500 people homeless as the FIRE burnt 2500 homes in Mandela Park in the Heart of Hout Bay that left many holding their heads with disbelief of the damage and magnettued of HUGE destruction of the FIRE. With this Hout Bay Community pulled together with help from far and near arriving to aid. My wife, daughter and I saw that these people have no food. No way to cook for the their families and kids. On the Sunday the Argus was cancelled due to the wind and the Fire in Hout Bay. We fed the victim's pizza and anything that our restaurants in the valley could produce. I asked Miki and David from Suikerbossie restaurant if I could use their kitchen to cook out of. With pleasure he said, Miki and his staff jumped in helping us cook 600 to 1200 meals a day. From soup to pasta to stews. However Miki had weddings comming up and needed his kitchen back. This was not even denting the mouths. I picked up the phone Early Tuesday morning. HI JP I NEED HELP I SAID! what's up he said!!!?? Fire 12500 people need to be fed. I need equipment gas burners and pots can you help????? Give me 10min he said I'll get back to you. Next thing I read is . 2 gas burners & Pots on its way to you. To my amaze brand new HUGE pots and 10 pot burners arrived. WOW WOW WOW! Hey JP thanks but!! JP let me know what else you need. In time of Crises Velox Auctioneer stepped up to the table with NO questions asked. It's not always about the buisness that measures a owner of a Buisness but his heart and to what lengths he goes out to help. JPlease THANK YOU from the PHOENIX PROJECT GROUP. we have fed some 50 000 meals and today wI'll be our last day. Many thanks for your support and help during this tuff time for HOUT BAY.
